In this etching, Seiko Tachibana illustrates the invisible movement of interacting particles or planets, like a portrait of the forces that govern the universe. The dense, enigmatic black circles seem to float, attracted and repelled by fluid, intertwining lines. This complex, delicate network evokes atomic orbits or cosmic movements, a representation both scientific and poetic.
The absence of clear spatial reference points plunges us into an abstract, almost metaphysical space, where the boundaries between microcosm and macrocosm become blurred. Interpretation becomes free: are we at the heart of an atomic representation, where each particle traces its path through infinite space? Or are we hovering over a cosmic vision, with planets and stars orbiting each other in an eternal dance of immensity?
