On Saturday June 5, at Galerie Le Coin des Arts-Le Marais, an exhibition of recent works will take you into the singular, undulating, vibrating world of Greke's work.
We look forward to seeing you from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 53 rue de Turenne.
The artist will be present from 3.30pm.
In his works, Greke has created a universe in keeping with his imagination and singularity, sometimes populated by strange-looking creatures that he links to his fondness for the ancient god Dyonisos. For the artist, creating is a way of life, and even more a necessity.
A number of motifs recur in Grekes' world: hypnotizing dot patterns and clouds, conducive to all manner of reveries and interpretations. Arrows, lines and circles occupy a multi-directional space.
Greke's works seem to expand, often radiating and vibrating. Greke has composed an original pictorial universe from elements that intermingle or clash. Greke demonstrates nothing, but reveals processes, movements and waves. The viewer is given a great deal of freedom.
