A beautiful etching by Georges Braque (1882–1963), inviting us to lose ourselves in the blue of the sky, where two inseparable birds soar freely. The theme of the bird, dear to Braque since the late 1920s, evokes space and flight. An artwork composed entirely of curves and undulating lines, featuring the artist’s characteristic colours: luminous yet slightly mysterious, as is so often the case with Braque.
