The Venezuelan-born artist is one of the leading exponents of kinetic art, as evidenced by this silkscreen play on the frontiers of abstraction and optical illusion. The assemblage of shapes forces the viewer's field of vision into disarray, creating an impression of dissonance. The Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Québec owns a copy of this work.
